Diving in Saona Island
We offer the possibility of doing a diving session visiting some of the most attractive coral reefs of the island. Due to the shallow depth, 14 -16 meters, these diving sessions are suitable for all kind of divers. You will be able to see many coral formations, huge gorgonias, fire corals, etc… You will also be able to see the natural habitat of the giant starfish, lobsters, barracuda, turtles and sometimes, even dolphins.
When we talk about Saona, our mind takes us to an incredible island. Whites-sand beaches, exuberant palm trees full of coconuts, water of an impressive turquoise color, but Saona, isn’t just about that. The richness of their coral reefs turns it into a underwater Paradise.
This tour has 2 diving sessions in the Natural Park of East, lunch at Saona Island and a visit to the natural swimming pools. It is a tour suitable for divers and their accompanying that don’t wish to dive and just rather enjoy of a snorkeling or just sunbathing.

Diving in Saona Island Itinerary
· Diving experience in the most famous island in the Dominican Republic.
· From 7:00 am to 7:30 am, pick up at all Bavaro / Punta Cana hotels and departure towards Bayahibe.
· The transfer time is approximately 1 hour, where the client will be given an extensive briefing of all the information necessary to carry out the 2 dives.
· Full day excursion consisting of 2 dives plus time on the island on an all-inclusive basis.
1. The first dive will be on one of the many wonderful reefs in Bayahibe.
– Quiet diving where we will enjoy a great variety of fish and corals.
2. Second dive in the most beautiful reef of Saona Island, immersion in a place very little frequented by tourism where we will enjoy a great diversity of marine fauna.
· Following the 2 dives, we arrive at our area of the island where a rich buffet awaits us for lunch and an open bar for drinks. Lunch time 1:30 pm
· After lunch, free time to enjoy the beach and good music until 2:45 pm where the ship will wait for us to return to port and then our transport to make a last stop at the natural pools. Unique environment of the national park where we will be taking a bath in the middle of the sea in totally crystal clear waters and the depth will not be greater than waist level for an average height.
· Arrival at the hotel at approximately 6:30 am.
